Juicing

if you have spare time and like the idea of doing it yourself then purchasing fresh fruit and vegetables from your local green grocer and juicing them yourself is a good way to go.

We opted for a lower cost but well reviewed Sunbeam. The Juice Fountain. It's a centrifugal juicer. There is a more expensive version the Juice Fountain Plus that saves you having to empty out the pulp every part batch.

Have a look online to shop around for a good price.

For optimal micronutrient and enzyme protection you might want to fork out the extra for a Cold Press juicer.

You might want to do some research yourself, but it seems like the Oscar Neo is well regarded.

You can find a good review on Vitality4Life of centrifugal vs cold pressing  here . That site also has some juicing recipes

We ended up running with recipes on Joe Cross' Reboot with Joe website:

We liked the ones on his 3 day cleanse program including Joes Mean Green and Un-beet-able in the  downloadable PDF

But there are many more to chose from here

He is the Sydney guy who has become a phenomenon in the USA and UK where cold press juicing has gone nuts. He has been on Dr. Oz and came to fame after recording his journey where he lost 6 stone in 60 days and recovered from an autoimmune disease.   His personal story of transformation was chronicled in the documentary Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, which has been seen by more than 5 MM people worldwide. (It does come across a little 'american' but I have spoken with Joe and he comes across as a really easy going humble guy.

It's his recipes that Preshafruit in Melbourne use for the RebootYourLife range that we had Issy on and have now included in the Year12Edge Nutrition pack.
