Health Juices

We bought a Juice Extractor and do squeeze our own juices from time to time, but in the end we discovered “Cold Pressed Fruit and Veg Juices” and found that with our busy timetables it was just easier to buy these. We have included some infomation about Juicing and Juice Extractors as well as some recipes on our Juicing Page.

You can find some of the ‘Preshafruit’ and ‘Reboot Your Life’ range at some Woolworths stores.  Preshafruit is a Melbourne company who in conjunction with Food Science Victoria developed a “High Pressure” cold juicing process that preserves enzymes and micronutrients by avoiding heat pasteurization but still maintaining a good shelf life.

The evidence of the impact of the micronutrients and enzymes from fruit and veg juices on boosting the immune system is not clinically proven, but it seemed to us to make sense, Isabelle loved the juices and we figured it did play an important part in her recovery. We only wish we’d bought them from the start of the year!

We recommend at least 350ml a day of fresh fruit and vegetable juice such as “Red Roar’ with beetroot, carrot, apple, lemon and ginger juices.
